History:

On a cold December day in 1967, two energetic young men, Billy Morden and Johnny Martin, joined with Mr. Felder Wright to form Wright's Cabinets, Inc. in North Litle Rock, Arkansas. These three men comprised the total work force in the early years. In January 1970, Mr. Wright sold his interest in the company to Billy and Johnny and subsequently retired.

The company moved into a 15,000 square foot building in Jacksonville, Arkansas on June 1, 1974. In March 1981, the building was expanded by 15,250 square feet. Subsequent additions in February 1986 and June 1991 resulted in a total of 56,000 square feet. On January 26 1986, Billy Morden and his family purchased Johnny Martin's interest in the company and Wright's continues as a family-owned business.

In August 1990, Billy started Morden, Inc. which manufactures an unfinished birch cabinet line in an 8,000 square foot building near Jacksonville, Arkansas.

Increasing sales resulted in the need for additional capacity, and in the summer of 1997, the company added a new 54,000 square foot facility in Louisville, Mississippi. In addition to having the same capabilities of the Arkansas location, the plant in Mississippi has a modern rough mill capable of producing all of the oak face and door parts for both plants.

Approximately 160 people were employed at the end of 1998, and the total revenues were approximately $10 million for the year.

Key Personnel:

Billy C. Morden - One of the original founders, served as the company's Chairman of the Board, President and CEO through 1998. In January 1999, Billy passed the duties of President on to Dennis Burt.

Dennis E. Burt - Joined the management team at Wright's as Executive Vice President in June 1997 following 17 years as managing partner of a local CPA firm.In January 1999, Dennis assumed the duties of President. Dennis thren retired in Febuary 2005.

Bobby Morden - Has worked at Wrights Cabinets for 16 years, becoming President in March 2005.

Jimmy Walker - As an employee since June 1976, Jimmy has extensive experience in all phases of cabinet manufacturing and currently serves as Vice President for Production.
